Job Summary
Two-person, on-campus Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in student homes at Milton Hershey School to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, provide care and guidance, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from nine days on/three days off to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Compensation includes per-person salary of $44,768 plus comprehensive benefits, housing, meals on duty, and relocation support; this is a two-spouse role requiring both spouses to submit individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
