Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School requires married couples to reside in on-campus student homes, supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to aPlaced Houseparent role living in the same student home. Includes relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and housing with meals while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse marriage for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Sunday Chapel
