Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) live in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, providing care, supervision, and guidance to groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially, duties follow a nine-on, three-off cycle across multiple homes, with eventual placement into a single student home. Benefits include salary of $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple with housing/benefits), relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and PTO. Requirements include youth-related experience, a high school diploma or GED, being legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong integrity and professionalism are expected as role models for students. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
