Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School are a two-person married-couple team residing in on-campus student homes to supervise and guide groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a fixed home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-spouse position requiring both spouses to complete individual employment applications
- Two years of marriage (legal)
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
