Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in a student home and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off and progresses to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to campus policies (smoke-free and weapon-free; no alcohol on duty)
