Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two married spouses) reside in on-campus student homes and provide supervision, mentorship, and care to 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and following a nine-on/three-off schedule transitioning to a Placed Houseparent. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with total compensation for the couple around $168,000, relocation assistance and paid training, comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement options, and paid time off. Requires experience with youth, high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must complete individual applications to be considered. Relocation assistance is provided."
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse role eligibility (must be legally married for at least two years)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to be placed in a live-on campus role with students
