Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus at Milton Hershey School to care for a group of 8–13 students, providing supervision, guidance, and support. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring student wellness, driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule into a placed houseparent role with the same student group. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with total compensation around $168,000 per couple (including housing, meals, utilities), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO. Qualifications require general youth experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, ability to lift to 50 lbs, and both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and 27 or older. This is a two-person role for couples, with both spouses completing individual applications.
