Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person role) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, manage routines, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and progressively transition to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license and van-certification eligibility, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus. The role is a two-person, married-couple appointment with relocation support and paid training, located on-campus in Hershey, PA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
