Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes with a group of approximately 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance; responsibilities include managing household routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, coordinating with Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role is a two-person, married-couple position, with initial nine-on/nine-off scheduling and eventual placement in a single student home, offering comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse role: both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
Additional Requirements
- Applicants must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- No smoking or weapons on campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Prohibited animal/pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
