Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, supervision, and guidance for a group of approx. 8–13 students; duties include supervising, mentoring, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same student group; includes relocation assistance and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- To consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
