Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students, overseeing daily routines, medications, transportation to activities, and faith-based devotions. The role progresses from initial nine-days-on/three-days-off duties to a placed houseparent assignment with the same group of students. Responsibilities include supervising students, coordinating schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. A two-person, married couple must apply, and relocation training is provided. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse two-person role
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Pet restrictions: fish and one dog
