Job Summary
Two-person Full-time on-campus Houseparent role for married couples at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students, including daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and facilitating daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Initially covering nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, couples will transition to a placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Requires high school diploma or GED, two-spouse, legally married for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; relocate to Mount Ida, Arkansas. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to commit to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Commitment to Judeo-Christian Chapel attendance
- Prolonged and consistent presence in student homes
