Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Residents on-campus, caring for a group of 8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, medication administration, and scheduling. Responsibilities include driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from initial nine-on/three-off duty to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Requires experience with youth, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and compliance with campus policies (smoke-free, weapon-free, Judeo-Christian chapel). The role is a two-person, married-couple position with relocation assistance and paid training; both spouses must complete individual applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
