Job Summary
Two-person, married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, residing in on-campus student homes in Pinckneyville, IL. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing household routines and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent with same group of students. Requires on-campus residency, working a nine-on/three-off cycle, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; benefits include relocation assistance and comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage; paid training; and a total compensation package for the couple estimated around $168,000. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and chapel services
- Ability to reside on-campus in student homes and work a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
