Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent roles for married couples to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and guidance to groups of ~8–13 students; responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with rotating nine days on, three days off across multiple student homes and progresses to a placed Houseparent living with the same group. Compensation includes per-person salary with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Proselytizing prohibited during devotion activities
