Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model behavior for students
