Job Summary
Fully-paid, two-person Flex Houseparent role for Milton Hershey School, living on campus in a student home, providing care, supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sundays Chapel, budgeting and reporting, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role. Eligible couples receive relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; requires high school diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, and commitment to a safe, church-friendly campus environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
