Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) live on-campus in student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan development and recreation, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and handle budgeting and reporting. The role transitions from initial nine-on/three-off duty to a placed houseparent housing the same student group, with relocation assistance provided. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to drive student vans, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year minimum commitment for both spouses? (explicit partnership requirement)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Willingness to lead devotions and chapel activities
- Comfort lifting up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
