Job Summary
Two-person married couple needed as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School to reside in on-campus student homes, provide supervision, mentorship, and care for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially, the schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person with comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement options, paid training, relocation assistance, and paid time off. Qualifications include youth-facing experience, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED; both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and age 27 or older.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel services
