Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (married couple) reside on Milton Hershey School’s on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, including administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, with a nine-on/three-off schedule initially and eventual placement in a dedicated student home. Benefits include salary per person with full benefits and relocation assistance; qualifications include high school diploma or GED, youth-experience, valid driver’s license, and a legally married pair aged 27+, ready to complete separate applications. This role requires living on campus, caregiving, supervision, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications
