Job Summary
Two-person married couple will reside in on-campus student homes as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing household routines and budgeting. They will follow a nine-on/three-off schedule initially, with eventual placement in a single student home as a Placed Houseparent, and will receive comprehensive benefits including relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
