Job Summary
Two-person married couple needed as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School to reside on campus, supervise 8–13 students in on-campus homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support; responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting and reporting; initially nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same student group; relocation assistance and paid training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
