Two-person couple living on-campus as Full-time Flex Houseparents oversee a group of approximately 8–13 students in a single home. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-on / three-off schedule within multiple homes and eventually transitions to a Placed Houseparent role with the same student group. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided, along with comprehensive benefits. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and being legally married for at least two years with both spouses aged 27 or older. No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
