Job Summary
Couples-only, Full-time Flex Houseparents are on-campus, live with 8–13 students in dedicated homes, and provide daily supervision, mentorship, medications administration, transportation, and engagement in academic, emotional, and spiritual development. Responsibilities include managing routines, budgeting, student activities, devotions, Sunday Chapel attendance, and reporting; initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent living with the same student group. Compensation is $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple including housing and meals), with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits. Requires two-year married status, both spouses aged 27+, HS diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and compliance with campus rules (smoke-free, no alcohol, restricted pets). For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Relocation assistance and paid training provided
