Job Summary
Child PA role: Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and handling budgeting and reporting. The position begins with nine days on / three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Requires a legally married two-person couple, both ages 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift 50 lbs; relocation assistance and paid training provided. Eligible benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement options, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
