Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) live on campus and care for a group of 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel visits, overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse eligibility
- Legally married for at least two years
- Two-person role
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel participation
- No alcohol on duty
- Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds
