Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, providing care, supervision, and guidance for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role initially supports various student homes with a nine days on / three days off schedule, then transitions to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person (approximately $44,768) plus comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and other related supports.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year marriage minimum for both spouses
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Prohibited to use alcohol while on duty
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
