Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household routine management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, lead devotions, and accompany them to Sunday Chapel. Plan developmental and recreational activities while overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, transitioning eventually to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Requires a legally married couple, ages 27 or older, with a valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
