Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students residing in on-campus homes. Manage household routines, administer medications, and ensure student wellness while driving students to activities. Plan and lead developmental, recreational, and devotional programs, including accompanying students to Sunday Chapel. Oversee budgeting and household reporting. Operate on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, eventually transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Requires a legally married couple, both 27+, to reside and work together in a smoke-free, weapon-free environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
