Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines and schedules. Administer medications, ensure student wellness, and drive students to activities. Plan and lead developmental and recreational engagements, including daily devotions and trips to Sunday Chapel. Oversee budgeting and household reporting. Operate under a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, with unscheduled weekday time when students are in school. Transition to a Placed Houseparent role after initial support. Requires a legally married couple, both 27+, with youth experience and valid driver's licenses.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
