Job Summary
Provide daily supervision and mentorship for 8–13 students while managing household routines and schedules. Administer medications, ensure student wellness, and drive students to activities. Plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and accompany students to Sunday Chapel. Oversee budgeting and household reporting. Follow a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with unscheduled time on weekdays while students are in school. This two-person role requires legally married couples (age 27+) to reside in on-campus student homes, fostering a structured, family-like environment for academic, emotional, and social development.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
