Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household routine management for 8–13 students in an on-campus student home. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions while planning developmental and recreational engagements. Transition to a Placed Houseparent role after initial support, managing budgeting and household reporting with a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off. Maintain a smoke-free, weapon-free, and alcohol-free environment with only fish and one approved dog permitted. Both spouses must hold a valid U.S. driver's license, be certified to drive student home vans, and be legally married for at least two years.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
