Job Summary
Manage the child nutrition program within Brunswick County Schools, overseeing daily food service operations and ensuring compliance with state regulations. Coordinate staff schedules and monitor food safety protocols, including ServSafe certification and HACCP principles. Maintain valid NC driver's license for program logistics. Requires two years of food service experience in the local program or three years in another district. Vacancy available September 1, 2026, with a pay grade of $18.33 to $26.30 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NC Drivers License
- Valid current ServSafe certification
- Certificate of completion of HACCP Principles
- High School diploma or GED equivalency
- A minimum of two (2) years of food service experience in Brunswick County Schools Child Nutrition program; or three (3) years successful food service management experience for another school district
