Child Mental Health Therapist (Virtual)

Job Summary
Deliver outpatient therapy for children and adolescents via virtual/telehealth, conducting culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments and providing individualized and family therapy. Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans; participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning; ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance authorization; collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and other therapists to support holistic care; pursue licensure and engage in ongoing professional development within a multidisciplinary team. The role includes a base compensation framework described as per billable unit, with a focus on ethical practice, confidentiality, and patient-centered outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
- Experience in working with children and families
- Provisional license per state regulation (if required)
- Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently
