Job Summary
Provide child life services in a healthcare setting to meet the emotional, developmental, and social needs of pediatric patients and families. Conduct psychosocial assessments, promote developmentally appropriate interventions, prepare patients and families for procedures, and collaborate with professionals to support the mission of the Child Life Department.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- CCLS – Certified Child Life Specialist from the Association of Child Life Professionals, acquired within 12 months of entering the role
- 2 years of full time clinical experience as a Child Life Specialist preferred
