Plan, develop, and provide Child Life programming to meet the psychological, emotional, and developmental needs of pediatric patients and families. Coordinate, schedule, and supervise special events for inpatient pediatric areas while collaborating on photography, filming, and donor engagement. Prepare patients for procedures using therapeutic play and evaluate developmental stages to apply coping strategies for stress, illness, or loss. Provide consultations to healthcare workers and family members regarding developmental and behavioral issues.
