Job Summary
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support the developmental, psychosocial, and educational needs of pediatric patients and their families. Provide therapeutic preparation for medical procedures and coordinate age-appropriate play activities to reduce anxiety and promote coping. Train, guide, and supervise students and volunteers assigned to the unit. This full-time position offers relocation assistance and pays between $24.00 and $30.00 per hour depending on experience. The role is located near Winters, Texas, within a family-oriented community featuring affordable housing, excellent schools, and a relaxed small-city lifestyle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Child Life, Therapeutic Recreation, or a related field with coursework aligned to the Child Life Council's recommendations
- Child Life Professional Certification
