Job Summary
Child Life Program Manager responsible for leadership, program development and coordination of patient and caregiver education and support programs; serves as liaison between healthcare teams and community/internal partners; applies evidence-based practices in child development and health experiences; analyzes data to guide outreach focus; drives program development, donor coordination, and volunteer management within a pediatric hospital setting; requires collaboration across Essentia departments and adherence to child life credentials and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (therapeutic recreation, child life, family or child development, counseling, child psychology, education, social work or related field)
- 3 years of related experience in an acute care children’s facility
- Child Life Professional Certification or ability to obtain within 6-12 months
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required or ability to obtain within 3 months
- Must maintain certification
