Job Summary
Child & Family Therapist at Casa de los Niños provides in-home or agency-based therapy to culturally diverse families, conducts comprehensive assessments, develops and implements treatment plans, and maintains thorough documentation. Responsibilities include crisis management, connecting clients with social services, coordinating with school programs and referral agencies, testifying in Juvenile Court as needed, and ensuring follow-up care. Requires MSW or equivalent graduate degree, eligibility for fingerprint clearance, valid Arizona driver’s license, CPR/First Aid certification, and ability to provide transportation to clients. Bilingual preferred. The role emphasizes building rapport across family members, delivering group and individual therapy, and collaborating to promote child well-being and family stability while meeting organizational productivity targets.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy or a 60 unit graduate degree in an equivalent program
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to provide own transportation to and from clients' homes and/or other relevant organizations or agencies
- Bilingual preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- Must be able to meet training and organization requirements for the position
- Must possess or be able to qualify for and maintain a valid Arizona department of public safety level one fingerprint clearance card
- Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license and be insurable under the organization's automobile policy
