Job Summary

Build communication, social, and daily living skills for autistic children through play, conversation, and shared activities in one-on-one home-based or center-based sessions. Create meaningful connections that help children think, create, and engage with the world while tracking progress by documenting session notes and goal outcomes. Collaborate closely with clinicians and supervisors to build clinical skills and confidence within a relationship-based intervention model. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, one year of experience with children, and the ability to perform physical tasks like playing on the floor for hours and lifting up to 40 lbs. Earn $26–$30/hour on part-time M-F or weekend schedules with paid drive time and mileage reimbursement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • at least 1 year of volunteer or working experience with children
  • Valid driver's license
  • reliable transportation (30–40 min drive radius)
  • Ability to complete physical tasks, including playing on the floor/ground for up to two-three hours per session
  • Lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs
  • Sitting, kneeling, crouching, or moving quickly to ensure child safety
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism with families and teammates
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs
  • Must be available for Saturday and Sunday shifts
  • Must be available for 3pm-8pm hours
  • Must be available for 9a-3pm hours
  • Must be able to work directly with families in home-based setting
