Job Summary
Build communication, social, and daily living skills for autistic children through play, conversation, and shared activities in one-on-one home-based or center-based settings. Create meaningful connections that help children think, create, and engage with the world while following a relationship-based intervention model. Document session notes and goal outcomes to track progress, then collaborate closely with clinicians and supervisors to build clinical skills and confidence. This role is ideal for students balancing classes, internships, or graduate school. You will work part-time schedules of 3, 4, or 5 days per week, with most available hours between 3pm and 8pm or Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 3pm. Paid drive time and mileage reimbursement are included between clients.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18+
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation (30–40 min drive radius)
- Ability to complete physical tasks, including playing on the floor/ground for up to two-three hours per session
- Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to sit, kneeling, crouching, or move quickly to ensure child safety
- Strong communication skills and professionalism with families and teammates
