Job Summary
CDC Assistant II at Medford School District 549C supports the CDC Leader and school administration in daily operations, maintaining safety and well-being in the Center, documenting information on children and parents, supervising high school student workers, planning age-appropriate activities, coordinating assessments (ASQ, Pre-K), ensuring licensing and policy compliance, and performing related duties including first aid/CPR and safety checks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of teaching experience in a certified daycare center or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Oregon Driver's license
- Pediatric CPR/First Aid certificates
- Recognizing & Reporting Child Abuse Certificate
- Health & Safety certificate
- CRIMINAL HISTORY REGISTRY & Central Background Registry clearance
- OSO Step/Portland State University Oregon Registry Online (ORO) certificate
