Job Summary
Collect fees from parents and maintain all bookkeeping records while assisting in overseeing the Project SCOPE program in an elementary school. Meet the needs of each child with dignity and respect, establish a positive liaison with parents and children, and assume an equal share of housekeeping responsibilities with staff. Attend staff meetings, participate in training programs, and support the school's rules and team members. Perform duties as assigned by the Coordinator or Assistant Coordinator. Requires a degree in child care or teaching, CPR and First Aid certification, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Works 5 hours daily, including 6 hours on Wednesdays, with a split shift schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Highly interested in school-age children
- Warm, positive attitude and an ability to relate with children and adults
- Willingness to fulfill the program goals
- Take any required online training classes (Gateways)
- Become CPR and First Aid certified (Project SCOPE will provide the class)
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work a split shift
