Job Summary
Provide on-site leadership and direct care for children at the Employee Child Care Center II, implement curriculum and daily lesson plans based on assessment of each child's development while adhering to Texas guidelines, monitor groups indoors and outdoors, ensure individual attention and safety, communicate with parents, maintain confidentiality, follow Plano ISD and DFPS standards, supervise substitute staff, and participate in staff meetings and ongoing compliance activities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certificates
- Attend pre-service 24-hour training within 90 days of hire for new employees in licensed centers who have less than 2 years' experience in regulated child care; the 24 hours MUST be completed before the employee may be counted in the child/caregiver ratio
- Must be 18 years of age or older
