Job Summary
Conduct direct implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of youth service plans while providing individual and group counseling and skills development. Manage daily hygiene, food preparation, and routine tasks for children, ensuring residences remain clean and safe. Coordinate transportation to approved destinations, handle medical and dental appointments, and prepare written logs and critical incident reports. Maintain positive community relationships and attend planning meetings and treatment sessions. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to drive agency vehicles. Full-time, 40-hour schedule with varying hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Three years of relevant experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Good driving record
- Ability to use a computer and learn software programs
- Ability to operate a fax, copier, scan, and other office equipment
- Ability to speak, read and write fluently in the English language
- Ability to write in the English language using correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.
- Ability to frequently lift 0-25 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally lift 25-50 lbs.
- Ability to rarely lift over 50 lbs.
- Ability to frequently push/pull 0-25 lbs. of force
- Ability to occasionally push/pull 26-45 lbs. force
- Ability to rarely push/pull over 45 lbs.
- Ability to sit 50-60% of the working day
- Ability to stand 10-20% of the working day
