Job Summary
Provide coaching, training, on-site consultation and technical assistance to childcare programs serving infants and toddlers across Ocean County; conduct ITERS-3 assessments, maintain accountability for ITERS-3 and FCCERS, and implement NJCCIS and GNJK-related training and reporting. Develop training materials, coordinate the Professional Development Calendar, and promote quality improvements through community outreach and partner organizations. Recruit providers into the Infant Toddler Support Network, track program referrals and outcomes, and deliver professional development both virtually and in-person, with day/evening/weekend availability as needed. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or related field and 5 years of experience; duties performed in Tom’s River, NJ, with full-time hours (35 per week).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or related field
- 5 years’ experience working with young children and early childhood education, preferably with the birth – 3-year-old population
- familiarity with ITERS-3 and Grow NJ Kids preferred
- Bi-lingual preferred
- Excellent teamwork, communication & interpersonal skills
- reliable car and valid driver’s license
