Job Summary
Provide direct supervision to children on and off Stepping Stone House grounds to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment. Teach parenting and child care skills to parents while planning recreational activities and outings to assist mothers in the bonding process. Assist Case Managers with transportation and community linkage services, including school activities and appointments. Perform any other duties assigned by the Program Coordinator or Director. Maintain CPR/First Aid certification and interact well with children, co-workers, and clients in a pleasant manner.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be age eighteen (18) or older
- Must not have pled guilty to/been convicted of any offense in ORC109.572(c)(2)(a)
- Maintain CPR/First Aid treatment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior child care experience of at least one (1) year preferred
- child care training
