Job Summary
Proactively interact with and support children's activities to foster a safe, enriching environment, focusing on fun and positive play time. Organize and participate in recreational activities, including games and arts and crafts, while managing toy storage and materials. Greet members and children before and after workouts, and oversee the signing in and out of children for each camp session. Ensure proper documents and waivers are signed and on file. Work at least three afternoons per week from 3:30pm to 6:45pm Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays from 7:45am to 10:00am. This role supports the Burn Boot Camp mission of empowering women and families by enhancing the lives of every child attending our facility.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18+ to work with children in a childcare setting
- Part Time Availability (at least 3 afternoons per week)
- Monday-Friday from 3:30pm-6:45pm
- Rotating Saturdays from 7:45am-10:00am
- Compassionate, nurturing, energetic and friendly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable and attentive
- Good time management skills
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment with children of all ages
- Previous childcare experience is preferred
