Job Summary
Design and follow a full schedule of activities using stories, media, and games to enhance children's abilities while providing basic care and supervision. Evaluate student performance to ensure they remain on the right learning track, observe interactions to promote developmentally appropriate play, and identify behavioral problems to determine the right course of action. Maintain constant communication with parents to update them on progress and collaborate with colleagues while adhering to teaching standards and safety regulations. Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Will be required to complete Entry Level Child Care Training (ELCCT), CPR/1st Aid, and Safe Sleep after hired
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Patience, flexibility and love for children
- Strong communication and time management skills
