Child Care Teacher - N-Deck - Rotating

Job Summary

Plan, develop, and implement child-centered creative lesson plans using the Reggio education approach for children aged six weeks to six years. Ensure a safe, secure, and engaging environment while documenting daily progress, activities, and ongoing assessments for parents. Maintain infection control standards, keep classrooms neat and aesthetically pleasing, and conduct regular safety reviews indoors and outdoors. Respond to the needs of children, prepare for evening activities, and rotate shifts or holidays as required. This role supports parents in achieving their parenting goals and fosters children's growth and development within a team environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate
  • Previous experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 6 years of age
  • 2 years of formal teaching experience
  • 2 year degree in early childhood education, child psychology, psychology, or closely related field
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 40 hours of coursework in early childhood education or related field
  • Available for shift rotations and holidays
  • Preparation of the environment for classroom activities including evenings
  • Ensuring that classrooms are kept in a manner that supports infection control
  • Reviewing the area for safety both indoors and outdoors
  • Preparation of lesson plans for the week
  • Physical - Lifting less than 20 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
